Everything You Need to Know About Doggie Daycare at Shaggy Shack Pet Resort & Spa

Doggie daycare is a wonderful way to make sure your furry friend gets to have fun and stay active with other dogs. It doesn't matter if your dog is just visiting for the day or if they're a regular at our place. We're located in Spanaway, but we happily welcome dogs from nearby areas like Lacey, DuPont, JBLM, Lakewood, Yelm, McKenna, Roy, Graham, Eatonville, Ashford, Elbe, Puyallup, South Hill, Frederickson, Parkland, Summit, Elk Plain, Orting, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Tacoma, and more.

We Have 26 Play Yards

At Shaggy Shack Pet Resort & Spa, we have 20 fenced play yards with double-gated entrances for safety. Your dog will have a blast with our play equipment and toys, and our experienced handlers give them plenty of attention.

Playgroups and Activities

We provide various activities for your dog to enjoy during their stay. We require a free behavioral evaluation for all boarding appointments to ensure compatibility.

Requirements

We have some basic requirements to keep all our furry guests safe and happy:

All dogs must wear quick-release clip collars.

Your dog must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including Distemper/parvo combo, Rabies, Bordetella, and a fecal exam every six months.

There are new policies for dogs that are not spayed/neutered, not friendly with other dogs, or prone to escaping, which include an extra daily charge.

Rates and Fees

We have different packages to suit your needs and budget:

Single-day rates start at £34 for one dog.

We offer discounted packages for multiple days, starting from £165 for five days for one dog.

Unlimited monthly packages are available too.

Booking an Appointment

Please book your daycare appointment at least a day in advance. Contact us for more information or to make a booking.

Daycare Hours

We're open for daycare from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 6 pm, Saturdays by appointment only from 9 am to 3 pm, and Sundays by appointment only from 10 am to 2 pm.

Pick-Up and Boarding Drop-Off Hours

Our pick-up hours are Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Boarding drop-off hours are also available during these times.
